An event on the progress of the Erasmus+ DEFEP project was held at Moldova State University

Moldova State University hosted a thematic event dedicated to reviewing the current progress of the Erasmus+ project DEFEP: best EU practices in response to the requests of modern higher education seekers and the labour market.

The meeting gathered representatives of the project consortium, academic experts, and professionals from different sectors to reflect on key achievements, address existing challenges, and discuss the future development of the project.

During the event, participants highlighted major milestones of DEFEP, with particular attention given to the advancement of distance education initiatives in Moldova and partner countries. Special focus was placed on the development of a pilot master’s programme in distance education, including the challenges faced during its design and the innovative solutions applied to overcome them. Discussions also centred on defining further steps to ensure academic quality, relevance, and alignment with labour market expectations.

The outcomes of the event demonstrated the strong engagement and shared commitment of all stakeholders involved. Through collaborative efforts and expert input, DEFEP continues to contribute to the transformation of higher education by promoting innovation, improving accessibility, and responding to the needs of a changing global workforce.

Moldova State University and the DEFEP project team expressed their sincere appreciation to all contributors and partners for their active participation and support.
