The educational program is based on knowledge and skills in the fields of information and communication technologies, information security, cybersecurity and financial technologies. A high level of knowledge is provided through the disciplines of general training (“soft skills”), industry and professional training (“hard skills”).

The purpose of the program is to train professionals capable to implementing information and / or cybersecurity technologies for financial technologies.

The educational program is aimed at the formation of fundamental knowledge and professional skills in information and / or cybersecurity of information technologies, financial technologies and operation of information systems (services).

 

The pedagogical and educational process is aimed at professional training.

The feature of the program is to train professionals focused on the application of professional competencies in information and / or cybersecurity in the financial sector, information security of institutions and organizations, including banking institutions.

In the course of the educational process student-centered problem-oriented learning, the application of educational and practical methods of organization and motivation of educational and cognitive activities, training methods, business cases, practical consultations, the use of modern information and communication technologies are implemented.

Professional competencies of the educational program provide the formation of the system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of modern information and / or cybersecurity organization; the ability to apply the legal and regulatory framework, as well as national and international requirements, practices and standards in order to carry out professional activities in the field of information and / or cybersecurity; the ability to use information and communication technologies, modern methods and models of information security and / or cybersecurity, in particular in the field of financial activities of institutions and organizations; the ability to ensure business continuity in accordance with established information and / or cybersecurity policies; the ability to implement and ensure the functioning of complex information security systems, etc.

 

Practical training includes design and technological practice, which ensures the combination of theoretical and practical training of students on administration, maintenance of information systems and networks, the development of proposals to improve and enhance the effectiveness of technical and organizational measures using modern information technologies, the estimate of current information security and the choice of mechanisms to counter threats, and practical training at an enterprise carried out on the basis of existing contracts with financial and credit organizations and institutions and IT companies.

Students can be involved in credit mobility programs (except first year students of Bachelor’s degree), in particular in the Erasmus + project.

Upon the completion of the program, graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies at the second (Master’s) level of higher education to acquire additional qualifications in the system of postgraduate education.
