KKNU team contributed to the second round of the DEFEP international conference on distance education

On October 14, 2025, the second round of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Distance Education of the Future: Experience of the DEFEP Project and Sustainable Development” was held, focusing on the implementation of DEFEP outcomes at partner universities.

During this session, particular attention was given to the practical experience of distance education development in higher education institutions operating under challenging conditions. The KKNU team was represented by Anna Chkheailo, the director of Karazin Banking Institute of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, who, together with colleagues from partner institutions, presented key insights into the advantages and challenges of implementing distance education in frontline universities.

The discussion was further enriched by presentations addressing the role of distance education in supporting agrarian and social development, highlighting diverse institutional contexts and disciplinary perspectives within the DEFEP consortium.

The panel discussions generated strong interest and active engagement among participants, encouraging an open exchange of views on institutional resilience, digital transformation, and sustainable development of higher education. The event once again demonstrated the value of collaboration within the DEFEP project and the active involvement of the KKNU team in shaping future-oriented distance education practices.
